GENERAL CONVENTIONS, 1904.
LOS ANGELES, CAL., MAY 7, 8, 9.
All sessions of the Convention will be held in Elks
Hall, 231 S. Spring St. Visiting friends who desire accommodations
secured for them should write in advance
their intention to attend, stating the number in each party,
the name, color and sex of each individual, and the price
of accommodations desired. On account of long distance
from Allegheny, applicants for accommodations should address
the chairman of Committee direct, viz., Bro. F. P.
Sherman, 211 N. Spring St., Los Angeles, Cal.
Accommodations can be secured at 50c each for three or
four persons in a room and $1.00 each for single persons
or couples in a room.
Reduced rates are available over the railroads on account
of "M.E. General Conference." From points within
the State of California the rate is one fare and a third for
the round trip. Very Low Rates are granted from outside
the State. Travellers should enquire for "General
Conference Excursion Ticket." Friends arriving over
the Santa Fe Railroad can reach hall by Wellington St.
car; and those arriving by Southern Pacific, should board
yellow car marked "Arcade Depot."
Going and returning the Editor will hold several One-Day
Conventions. His itinerary will be as follows:--

A General Convention to serve the friends of the
Truth in Great Britain will be held in London on May 21,
22,23. All services take place at WATCH TOWER BIBLE &
TRACT SOCIETY'S HALL, 24 Eversholt St., N.W. Arrangements
for baptism will be made; and accommodations
provided for visiting friends. Those intending to be present
should promptly notify our British Branch at above
address. In the absence of the Editor of this journal, the
Society's representative and Permanent Chairman will be
Brother J. H. Hemery.

ALLEGHENY CHURCH MEETINGS.
Preaching and divine worship every Sunday afternoon
in Bible House Chapel, No. 610 Arch Street at 3 p.m.
At 7.30 p.m. Bible Study, preceded by Praise Service.
The pastor, Brother Russell, is usually at home and the
speaker on the first and third Sundays of each month, except
as Convention Notices of next column may modify.
On other dates brethren of ability will address the Church.
Cottage meetings for prayer and testimony on Wednesday
evenings; and Dawn Circles for Bible study on Monday,
Thursday and Friday evenings--various localities.
These meetings are interesting, and spiritually profitable.
