1907--GENERAL CONVENTIONS--1907
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y., AUG. 30-SEPT. 5
(For particulars see page 244 of last issue.)
NORFOLK, VA., SEPT. 29-OCT. 6
The design of these General Conventions is spiritual refreshment
by mutual upbuilding along spiritual lines. "The
fellowship of kindred minds is like to that above." Those who
have never enjoyed these "feasts" know not what they are
missing. So say we all! Assuredly the Lord will make up
the loss to those not permitted to participate with us; but
when it is reasonably our privilege we do well not to forget
these assemblies of ourselves.--`Heb. 10:25`.

1907--GENERAL CONVENTIONS--1907
GLASGOW, SCOTLAND, CONVENTION, SEPT. 28-OCT. 1
J. HEMERY, CHAIRMAN AND GENERAL REPRESENTATIVE OF W.T.B. AND T. SOCIETY
A General Convention is appointed for "Believers in the
Atonement by the precious blood--a ransom for all," at Langside
Halls, opposite Minard Road, Crossmyloof, Glasgow,
Sept. 28-Oct. 1. The usual arrangements for baptism are
being made. Requests for accommodations should be addressed
to Bro. G. MacKenzie, 61 Glencairn Drive, Pollock-shields,
Glasgow.
NORFOLK, VA., SEPT. 29-OCT. 6
Very special excursion rates by rail and steamers prevail
on account of the "Jamestown Ter-Centennial." This will
have a large attendance from the North-East as well as from
the South generally. We will surely have a grand blessing
if we come together praying, hungering and thirsting for it.
Many exaggerated rumors are afloat re exorbitant rates,
and for a time we purposed a change of location. However,
we have assurances now, from friends there, that clean lodgings
can be had at from 50c to $1 per night, comfortable
meals at 25 cents each person and upward--coffee, 5c;
sandwiches, 5c. No one should calculate on less expense
than $1.50 per day.
Notify our "Convention Dept." the number of your party,
sex, color and price of lodging desired, before Sept. 12.
